In monarchical system, the governing body or president is elected from the head of the ruling family. The rule never goes beyond this family. Some countries follow the single party system wherein the system does not allow a second party to function and the election is held within the party. Though it is undemocratic and do not represent the peoples selection, decision making and stability in policies are the good takes of this system. They also do not incur heavy costs of conducting the election.
