Talking About Political Social Work

By Dorothy Lee

It involves the practice of power and political involvement. The people who work for this, which are social workers, have duties to assist and basically have the backs of those in power. Because they are in the government, they also have a bigger chance of being caught up in issues revolving around the Senate and everything else higher. That being said, policymaking is right up the alley of Political Social Work.

Taking note of that, the people who do the job there also have the responsibility of creating policies to better our society. They must remember all the rules and moral codes before doing them. Being in charge of something so important takes a lot of patience and responsibility and should not be taken very lightly since there is a chance everything could go completely awry.

Even the ones that actually have a bit of influence in the matter. Those that give their opinions and ideas, whispers the ideas themselves into their ears like little demons. Those people are involved in it too. Having them would be great for a dynamic. Every single one of their voices should be heard no matter how stupid some of them could get.

A different matter entirely rests on Putin. Jokes and memes all over the internet depict him as some ruthless and cruel yet funny man. Everything he does and all decisions he has made so far involved a level of grit and gut. Some politicians keel over just imagining doing the things he has done.

For example, if a leader decides to do something completely unexpected. It could have a good outcome for all they care but there are still going to be people who hate that decision. They literally will hate and judge them for it and possibly associate their entire being in a negative light because of that one single decision.

Having them at their side is kind of a requirement. Who else is going to be doing the small and slightly menial labor that leaders could not bother to do themselves? Granted, it would be sort of weird to see a mayor himself actually decorate the hall. Those are left for the lower ranked workers of course.

Completely ignoring the fact that his employees could as well be as eccentric as him, which is a word that does not really do justice to his personality, every action taken so far has been leaving impacts. They could either be good or bad, no one can deny that some people WILL find them distasteful. The majority of those who dislike his decisions are usually those who do not live in his country.

The same could be said for other forms of jobs. There are those who are just there to work and pay off their own bills, probably just wanting to get the money to raise their children and the rest of their family. Maybe they did not even want to work anywhere near political aspects but the need outweighed that disdain so they did not have a choice.

No matter how small it is, it literally is still a job and everyone should respect that. With that said, social workers are the same and shall be respected too. No one who sits behind that important chair would even be there without them.
